A Note From the Founder

A rifle is one of the few things a family keeps for a hundred years. Build it well, and you are not selling a product. You are starting an heirloom.

I spent forty years in this industry before Kay and I started High Caliber Gifts, and in all that time the rifles I remember best were never the ones bought for themselves. They were the ones given. A father's retirement. A grandson's first birthday. A name and a date in gold that meant something to one family and no one else. We build on Henry because their rifles are made in America, made to last, and made with the kind of receiver an engraver can do real work on. Every rifle that leaves us carries a serial number that belongs to one person and one story.

For the collector who wants the very best a Henry can be. Built in the smallest numbers, with details available nowhere else.

What Makes an Exhibition Edition

These are the only Henrys we offer with a hand-engraved jeweled bolt, and they wear features the standard catalog never will. Each is its own collector-grade piece, often issued one or two to a state, and the wait can run close to a year because the wood alone is that rare.

On Personal Engraving Commissions

Looking to Engrave Your Own Rifle?

For years we engraved customers' own firearms with logos, crests, and portraits. Today we have focused our shop entirely on designing and producing our own editions, so we no longer take individual engraving commissions.

If you have a firearm you would like engraved, you will be best served by a dedicated artisan near you who can give the piece their full attention. A good place to begin your search is the Firearms Engravers Guild of America, whose members are among the finest hand engravers in the country. We are always glad to point you in the right direction.
