A small family business built on four decades in the shooting sports, and on the belief that the best rifles are the ones that get handed down.
A rifle is one of the few things a family keeps for a hundred years. Build it well, and you are not selling a product. You are starting an heirloom.
I spent forty years in this industry before Kay and I started High Caliber Gifts, and in all that time the rifles I remember best were never the ones bought for themselves. They were the ones given. A father's retirement. A grandson's first birthday. A name and a date in gold that meant something to one family and no one else. We build on Henry because their rifles are made in America, made to last, and made with the kind of receiver an engraver can do real work on. Every rifle that leaves us carries a serial number that belongs to one person and one story.
High Caliber Gifts was founded in 2010 by Bob and Kay Delfay. Bob is a forty year veteran of the shooting sports industry, a sixteen year CEO of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and in 2024 he was inducted into the NSSF Hall of Fame.
What began as engraving customers' own firearms grew into something we are prouder of still: designing and producing our own serialized editions on the rifles we love most. Kay runs the orders and the care that goes with them, and together we keep the business small enough that every rifle gets attention from the people whose name is on the door.
We work between South Carolina and Connecticut, hold our own Federal Firearms License, and handle the transfer to your local dealer ourselves, so the only thing left for you is to pick up your rifle and pass it on someday.
"Henry Repeating Arms is proud to affirm that High Caliber Gifts, LTD., has been a valued and reputable Henry partner for many years."
Dan Clayton-Luce · Vice President, Henry Repeating Arms
We are an authorized Henry dealer and have produced Exhibition and commemorative editions with Henry since 2019, including several configurations Henry had never offered before.
